My Story.

For over a decade, my life was defined by the relentless pace of institutional finance. Most nights of the week you could find me out at a bar with coworkers, chasing the burn and fiery spice of a premium tequila. I loved the energy of going out, but I hated the loop it trapped me in: mornings of burnout, heavy cognitive fog, and the constant frustration of feeling unaligned with my own health and potential.

When I tried to slow down and cut back, the market failed me. The options were either syrupy, sugar-laden mocktails that felt childish, or watery, uninspired spirit alternatives that cost the exact same as a top-shelf bottle. Out of pure frustration, I would inevitably slip right back into the alcohol trap just to feel included in the room.

The turning point came in late autumn. After walking through the Drinks with Benefits Festival in New York and seeing the incredible world of brilliant international distillers, the universe gave me the ultimate sign to take a chance on myself. I realized the world did not have an ingredient problem. It had a navigation problem.

VASTNAY was born out of a desire to step out of the shadows, challenge my own limits, and build a trusted, taste-led compass for the modern glass. We do the heavy, rigorous auditing under the hood, selecting only world-class international producers who respect your body and honor your palate with rich viscosity, complex botanicals, and real back-of-throat bite.
